I want to be a kid again

I’ve been saying this a lot lately.  Between taxes, health insurance open enrollment and a few other big decision items on our plate right now, I find myself wishing I could go back to the days of only being concerned with eating, sleeping and playing.  My client said it perfectly the other day.  Whenever her son tells her “he’s bored” she replies with, “stop bragging.”  Perfect!  Of course he doesn’t get it.

I’m sure we’ll get to a point soon where we can find a better balance between adult responsibilities and kid-like play, but for now, I’m wishing for the good old days.
